The Dahua NVR4216-4KS3 is a 16-channel Smart Network Video Recorder designed for IP-based video surveillance systems. It features an industrial-grade processor and Embedded Linux operating system, supporting up to 16 IP camera channels with high-resolution video recording and monitoring.
The NVR supports video resolutions up to 12MP and provides flexible decoding performance. It supports up to 1-channel 12MP, 2-channel 8MP, 3-channel 5MP, 4-channel 4MP or 8-channel 1080p at 30fps when AI is disabled. With AI enabled, it supports up to 1-channel 12MP, 1-channel 8MP, 2-channel 5MP, 3-channel 4MP or 7-channel 1080p at 30fps.
For efficient storage and recording, the NVR supports Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+ and H.264 video compression, along with G.711a, G.711u, PCM and G.726 audio compression. It supports general, motion detection, intelligent and alarm recording modes, as well as instant, event, tag and smart playback.
The NVR features 1 HDMI and 1 VGA output, with HDMI supporting up to 3840 × 2160 resolution in simultaneous output mode. It includes 4 alarm inputs, 1 Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet port, two rear USB 2.0 ports and two SATA ports supporting up to 20TB per HDD. With flexible network protocols, third-party device support and USB/network backup, the Dahua NVR4216-4KS3 provides a practical solution for centralized IP video surveillance management.
