The Hikvision DS-7108HGHI-ECO/M1 is an 8-channel Mini 1U DVR designed for reliable video recording, playback, storage, and network-based surveillance management. It supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, and CVBS camera inputs, along with up to 2-channel IP camera input that can be expanded up to 10 channels. Compatible IP cameras can support resolutions up to 1080p.
The DVR supports H.265 Pro+, H.265 Pro, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 video compression. Recording resolutions include 1080p Lite, 720p Lite, WD1, 4CIF, VGA, and CIF depending on the selected stream access mode. Recording can be configured as manual, continuous, or event-based, with motion detection, video loss, and exception events available as recording triggers.
For monitoring, the DS-7108HGHI-ECO/M1 provides HDMI and VGA outputs with support for up to 1920 × 1080 at 60Hz. It supports 8-channel live view and 8-channel synchronous playback. Playback includes quick search by object or event type, along with functions such as play, pause, rewind, fast play, slow play, full screen, and backup selection.
The recorder features one SATA interface supporting up to 4TB per disk, two USB 2.0 ports, RS485 half-duplex communication, and a 10/100Mbps Ethernet interface. Network functions include Hik-Connect, ONVIF, ISAPI, HTTPS, DDNS, SMTP, and other standard protocols. With 12V DC power, ≤10W consumption without HDD, and a compact 200 × 200 × 48mm design, it is suitable for a variety of CCTV surveillance installations.
